Spotlight - House of Creed

Nowadays, we live in a globalized world where thousands and thousands of different perfume brands overflow the shelves of the stores we often visit. The same problem occurs in online stores, where endless listings are all but common. This particular situation makes it a very hard task for us to find those fragrances that truly stand out from the crowd. However, among the countless generic lines, it is still possible to find certain brands that have a tradition in quality and exclusivity, and that up to this day, remain in the niche of elite fragrances for men and women. Among them, we can find Creed.

The House of Perfumes Creed was founded in London in 1760 by Sir James Creed. Growing fast, it started to become one of the favorite perfume houses of the elite aristocracy, and Queen Victoria gave Creed the royal distinction of being the official supplier for the royal house. In 1854, Creed moved to Paris, where it continued to create a strong reputation for itself as a discreet brand that aims for perfection. As a family owned business, Creed continued to exist in relative anonymity until its international breakthrough came in the mid 80′s, under the hands of Olivier Creed, who successfully managed to give Creed a higher profile by enforcing the use of the most unique elements for its perfumes, always high quality, no matter the cost. This unique perspective helped this traditional brand achieve worldwide recognition, and continues to do so by providing the most amazing essences in every new fragrance released by Creed.
